EasyClean Guarantee

Easyclean Carpets are guaranteed against permanent staining or premature wear for 5 years from the date of purchase, subject to the following terms and conditions:
  1. Carpets must be fitted in accordance with BS 5325
  2. The purchaser must retain a copy of the invoice or receipt from the carpet retailer
  3. Carpets should be regularly maintained and any spillages spot cleaned straight away
  4. Carpets should be professionally cleaned at least once every two years, using steam extraction or dry clean methods to remove dirt particles which may otherwise accelerate wear

In the event of a spillage:

  1. Loose dirt should be removed with a vacuum cleaner
  2. Dried in dirt can be removed using the back of a knife or similar object and then removed as in a)
  3. Blot up any liquids using absorbent white cloth or kitchen towel. If necessary, dilute using lukewarm clean water and blot again.

If you are unable to remove the stain, contact the carpet retailer, who will contact Kingsmead Carpets.

  1. We will recommend a cleaning method for removal
  2. We recommend a professional cleaner to visit and clean the affected area (at the consumer's expense)
  3. In the event that the professional cleaner is unable to remove the stain we will reimburse the cost of cleaning (subject to production of the invoice) and replace the carpet subject to the terms and conditions listed

In the event of a claim for premature wear, the purchaser should contact the retailer from whom the carpet was purchased. In the event that the retailer considers there is a case for a claim of premature wear, we will arrange for an independent consultant to inspect the installation.

We will accept the findings of the independent consultant and in the event he reports there is premature wear, we will replace the carpets subject to our listed terms & conditions.

The consumer's statutory rights are not affected.
